Remington released its 7mm Remington Short Action Ultra Magnum in 2002 after the release of its full length brothers.  Designed specifically as a long range mountain hunting cartridge, it fits the bill nicely on a short or long action rifle.  Commercial support has waned, but the custom gun market has embraced this round.  Ample bullet choices make this round a solid choice for any of North America's big game species.  This round is perfectly at home in a standard factory rifle or your custom built rifle.  Custom seating depths are a great way to maximize your rifle's potential. ​​
