Recommended Game: All big game short of the coastal brown and polar bears, where we generally recommend 30 caliber magnum cartridges or larger.

This bullet is an excellent match for all manor of big game.  The sleek design retains velocity well and minimizes wind drift. Bonded construction with a tough, tapered jacket ensures deep, straightline penetration.  We have killed over 60 animals in 3 seasons with this bullet.  Performance is the same every time.  Good wound cavity, straight line penetration, broken bones and an exit hole virtually every time.  (We have only recovered one bullet from a frontal shot on a large whitetail launched from a Creedmoor.   That bullet weighed 95% of its start weight.)  This bullet is designed to retain about 80-85% of its original weight after impact.  We recommend this bullet most when big game hunting inside about 800 yards is anticipated.  If you like broken shoulders and exit holes, this bullet is an excellent choice.

We measure each powder charge to within +/- .02 grains on our Autotrickler powder systems.  We seat each bullet with Redding competition seat dies on our Forster Co-Ax single stage press.   We load them one at a time!  Each round is hand measured for consistency and placed into our hard plastic, twenty count boxes.  Each box has a foam insert and neoprene strap to keep your rounds secure in the field.  This is loaded ammunition.
