The 30 Caliber 205 Grain Elite Hunter is purpose-built for hunters  seeking a mid-to-heavy Rifle Bullet solution for their 30 Nosler, 300  Win Mag, 300 Ultra Mags, 300 PRC, and other 30 caliber long-range  hunting platforms. Elite Hunters utilize Berger’s industry-leading hybrid ogive design, which blends  tangent and secant designs to optimize efficiency, reduce wind-drift,  and minimize sensitivity to seating depth. Our Elite Hunter rifle bullets also incorporate a slightly thinner J4 Precision hunting jacket, which  allows the projectile to penetrate 2″ to 3″ before rapidly expanding.  Upon expansion, the projectile sheds most of its weight producing  extreme hydrostatic shock and a massive wound cavity in the vital area.  Berger Elite Hunter bullets dump their energy where it is most  effective, inside the animal. Animals drop quickly, with most  immediately going into shock after such trauma. An ethical kill is our  #1 performance goal and is demanded by our customers.

We recommend this bullet for long range hunting and for thinner skinned game animals.  Anyone accustomed to Berger hunting bullets will like the performance of this round.

This bullet is so long, it will not seat to SAAMI specs.  We have it seated at 3.670" Overall Length.  Please consult with us prior to ordering.  We need to make sure your rifle can handle at least 3.670" in the magazine and has a at least a 1:11" twist rate to stabilize this bullet.  

We measure each powder charge to within +/- .02 grains on our Autotrickler powder systems.  We seat each bullet with Redding competition seat dies on our Forster Co-Ax single stage press.   We load them one at a time!  Each round is hand measured for consistency and placed into our hard plastic, twenty count boxes.  Each box has a foam insert and neoprene strap to keep your rounds secure in the field.  This is loaded ammunition.
