Recommended Game: All big game short of the coastal brown and polar bears, where we generally recommend 30 caliber magnum and larger for them.  

This bullet choice is our most often recommended bullet for general purpose hunting out to 800-1,000 yards in this cartridge.  The bullet is designed to retain about 80-85% of its original weight after impact.  It drives deep and straight, breaks bones and generally exits the animal.  Scirocco® II, with the Signature Black Tip™, is a superbly accurate  hunting bullet designed for long-range efficiency. It carries velocity  and energy better than any of its competitors. Its sleek design and high  ballistic coefficient produces the flattest trajectory in downrange  hunting, making it a perfect match for long-range cartridges. The  Scirocco® II produces positive expansion at minimal velocities as well  as controlled expansion and high weight retention at close range. No  other tipped bullet offers the terminal range of Scirocco™ II. This bullet makes an excellent choice for general purpose hunting.  

We measure each powder charge to within +/- .02 grains on our Autotrickler powder systems.  We seat each bullet with Redding competition seat dies on our Forster Co-Ax single stage press.   We load them one at a time!  Each round is hand measured for consistency and placed into our hard plastic, twenty count boxes.  Each box has a foam insert and neoprene strap to keep your rounds secure in the field.  This is loaded ammunition.
