The ELD-X® (Extremely Low Drag - eXpanding) bullet is a  technologically advanced, match accurate, ALL-RANGE hunting bullet  featuring highest-in-class ballistic coefficients and consistent,  controlled expansion at ALL practical hunting distances.

With high velocity 0-400 yard impact, the bullet continually expands  throughout its penetration path. The thick shank of the jacket and high  InterLock® ring keep the core and jacket together providing 50-60% weight retention.

Upon low-velocity 400+ yard impacts, the Heat Shield® tip  drives backward into the bullet to initiate expansion. Exhibiting  conventional expansion with a large mushroom and 85-90% retained weight  the bullet provides deep penetration and large wound cavities.

We recommend this bullet for all thin skinned game, especially if you intend to shoot distance.  The slightly lower minimum impact velocity helps extend useful range and the sleek profile helps retain velocity.  The softer nature of this bullet makes it not our first choice for the big coastal brown or polar bears.  This bullet makes an excellent choice for non-dangerous game.

We measure each powder charge to within +/- .02 grains on our Autotrickler powder systems.  We seat each bullet with Redding competition seat dies on our Forster Co-Ax single stage press.   We load them one at a time!  Each round is hand measured for consistency and placed into our hard plastic, twenty count boxes.  Each box has a foam insert and neoprene strap to keep your rounds secure in the field.  This is loaded ammunition.
